Representational Expressionism

This 4 week course is for beginner and intermediate artists who want to adventure deep within their inner worlds and paint from the heart. Whether you are a practiced artist who craves a deeper connection with your authentic voice, or a newbie that wants to paint just for the fun of it, this class is an opportunity to discover your voice, connect with your body, and create with passion and purpose. Over the course of 4 weeks, we will take what we learned in our painting fundamentals course a step further to include personal symbolism, subconscious inspiration, and expressive mark making within abstracted landscapes . We expand on and revisit the building blocks of color theory, composition, and how to apply the 7 elements of painting, while adding Jacquè's approach to creating art that allows us to "feel it all."
