About the Event
This is live online introductory oil painting class for beginner to intermediate painters who want to paint in oil but don't know how to get started, or want an overview of the basics to bring their work to the next level. A bonus is that this class supports artists who want to avoid the hazards of working with the dangerous mediums oil painting is known for. In this course we will go in depth about materials, tools, color mixing, color theory, composition and painting with light in a Contemporary Impressionist style. Our 6 weeks cover 15 hours of painting total, giving the student ample time to complete projects each week while learning in a group environment online.
