Exploring Color

This 4 week course is for beginner to intermediate artists who want to deepen their understanding of color theory and color mixing.

Jacquè believes we all have our own style and vision that we must honor in our art, and that painting starts with understanding the fundamentals so each artist has a groundwork from which to grow and explore. Once an artist feels confident in their core skills, they have a greater capacity for innovation and personal style.

Class will have two parts, one hour of lecture to cover concepts and examples for the theme, and one hour dedicated to a painting demo where you watch Jacqué create a painting that applies the concepts discussed in that week's lesson. All classes will be recorded and available with a private YouTube link.

We meet weekly on 4 consecutive Tuesdays from 6PM-8PM.
